Ten wishes for what I want from 2009. Nothing too extravagant or selfish !

Maya

My LO is about my goal to spend more time outside with my youngest daughter.we often stay inside and play, but she loves the outdoors....so for 2009, my goal is to go outside and play no matter what kind of weather we have :-)

Veronica

Using pp from Webster's Pages. There is hidden journaling behind the photo, held in place by a clip.

Samantha

I figured there was no point in seeting goals if I couldn't keep track of them, so there's room for me to keep check on myself and add progress.

Zizi

I wish to have a better life, good job, pursue my studies, freedom, travel & shop more! =)

Guest Designer for Jan 09 - Mica

Here is my layout titled 'One Day at a Time'.
I first thought of creating a page about my diet. I actually took and printed a couple of photos of the scale and a box of cake mix with a jar of icing, thinking a big slice of cake would be a reward. Then I thought of it some more. This year, I want to learn something new, try new techniques on my pages, create more layouts, take better care of myself, get back on walking.... these are some of my goals/wishes. So the phrase 'one day at a time' came to my mind. Whatever the goal is, I want to take one day at a time. And I want my dd to do the same. I ended up with choosing these photos of her working on her Math. It's the subject she has hard time with and I was helping her with it that day.

We can't wait to see your creations.

January News.....

Firstly I would like to introduce our very first 'Butterfly Crafts Guest Designer' Mica:

Hi all! My name is Mica. I live with my husband of 18 years and we have 14-year-old daughter. I discovered scrapbooking about a year before we moved here 3 1/2 years ago. When a friend of mine showed me her overseas trip album, I fell in love with it and immediately took up this hobby. Although I didn't scrap at all for 2 years after we moved here, I have been seriously scrapping since December 2007. I don't have a particular style. I try to keep my pages simple enough. I love challenges and working with sketches. They eliminate a great deal of my frustration and make my layouts versatile. I am so excited to be the very first guest designer here at Butterfly Crafts. With great DTs on the board, I have no doubts the upcoming challenges will inspire us all. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of the fantastic blog.

You will be able to see Mica's work in our 4th challenge which will be revelled on 15th Jan.

We are also very pleased to announce our very first Sponsor - Red Oak Lines the Esty shop of our very own DT member Sarah - Thanks Sarah xx. Our winner of the January challenges will receive a fantastic RAK from red oak lines so be sure to play along!!
