Here's what our fantastic DT came up with:

Cynthia, Kate and Emilie are three very different girls. They are all unique and true friends. Each is generous, thoughtful and kind. I realized I met them at various milestones in my life. Cynth at the beginning of school, Em at the start of high school and Kate on my first day of University.I feel very lucky to have these girls in my life and I hope to be as good as a friend to them as they are to me.

Hidden Journaling is on the piece of Jenni Bowlin journaling card which I had cut out so that it can be 'clipped' onto the photo. It says:My best friend has got to be the father of my kids. I remember how he would stand by me when I had girlfriends’ issues, how he would just give me his support blindly (despite his own reservations), how he would travel to NTU to visit and stay over when I was mugging for exams. He always brought me whatever I loved/ wanted to eat. He reads me like a book, gave me 2 beautiful kids, is tolerant of my nagging and my obsession with cleanliness, supports me in bible lessons and prayers (despite his reluctance- am still praying for his salvation) and works hard to feed and provide for our family after supporting my decision to resign. He tries hard to help out with the kids even though I sometimes disapprove of his methods. That’s why he’s my children’s father, my husband, my pillar and my best friend. No doubts. If you notice, I added on 2 metal rings to symbolise our marriage and the anchor embellishment with a dove to represent that the hubby is our anchor man!

This is my friend Nicki! Funily enough her bday is on the day when this challenge is released so it came at the right time! LOL

My Hubby is my best friend!

These are my dearest friends and we met through this wonderful craft.....Our friendship has grown over the years and now we are able to share so many wonderful moments together!!! I adore your girls!!!!

Leanne L

This is my best friend Val, she is 15 years older than me but we have so much in common and we mesh so well together. I love her to bits.

Using BG vagabond papers, grungeboard swirls, BG wholly cow rub-ons and one of my fave photos at the moment.

A Layout of my mom and I while vacationing in Hawaii 2 years ago. I was 7 months pregnant with my dd and knew it would be one of the last relaxing holidays I'd be taking for awhile. Couldn't think of anyone I'd rather spend time with (aside from dh) than my mom! She is so much more than a best friend - words cannot describe!

Meet our 15th August Guest Designer - Lisa....

About Me :

I'm 34, married and have Hollie who is 10 and Louis 7.

I've always been into crafting since being a child and found scrapbooking about 6yrs ago. It's the one papercraft that's stuck with me and I'm happy to say I'm completely addicted.

I have my own business which I run from home. This works perfectly around the family and the scrapbooking.

I love experimenting with paints and messy things and enjoy making mini books too.

Visit Lisa's blog here and you can see Lisa's GD lay-out tomorrow - Challenge 18...

Here's what our fantastic DT came up with:

Karen (Me)

Leanne I

So food and drink hey? Well its a big part of our daily lives!! And one of mine and the other halves love atm is the M&S dine in for a tenner offers!! Its so quick and yummy and cheaper than take out. I've used Cosmo Cricket Early Bird, MLS letter stickers and some thickers. Plus a lovely big bow across the page.

I can not start the morning without Chai Tea. I may even drink it in the afternoon too depending on the day!

This is my nephew's favorite fruit in the summer! I used the new collection from Fancy Pants - Kraft Kuts! I also used dots cardstock, the slice, dimensional pearls & buttons. For most of the buttons I used Hemp cord. TFL!!!

Our August 1st Guest Designer - Lisa

I wrote my journaling on the back of the LO. It reads:
Diet Dr. Pepper. Oh how I have a love/hate relationship with you. I am aware of the fact that you are nothing more than a bottled nutritional wasteland yet you taste so good. Try as I might to break off our long-standing relationship, I think I will forever be your fan. I cannot help myself....I'm totally addicted!

We can't wait to see what you come up with....
