Challenge 10.....

I can't believe we are up to challenge 10 already!!! Here it is:

Create a Lay-out about what fashion means to you. Whether it be favourite fashions from a period of time, a favourite designer or maybe even a fashion disaster - whatever you want.

Please upload your LO's to our gallery, leave us a link in the comments or e-mail them to Butterflycrafts1@aol.com by 29th April to be in with a chance of becoming our May guest designer and this month the winner will also receive a gorgeous kit (kit includes Magenta paper, cardstock, Magenta chipboard, heidi swapp chipboard, brads, BasicGrey alphabet, & kaiser flowers) from our April Sponsor 'Scrapbook Star' - A big thank you to our DT member Samantha for sponsoring us this month xx

Here's what our fantastic DT came up with:

Michelle

When it comes to fashion, I guess you'd call me a dud ! I don't do heels, handbags, accessories or makeup. And when it comes to clothes, there are no brand names in my wardrobe - unless you count K-Mart and Target ! LOL !!!

Veronica

I did this layout of my younger daughter who I call a "Young Fashionista" for her keen fashion sense. Even at such a young age, she is very particular about her dressing, and everything she wears has to be fully coordinated!

Leanne

I love the look of how women dressed in the 1950's. They were so feminine and classy. I adore the look of the corseted waist and full hips that were the hallmark of 50's clothing. Swimwear was also soft and form fitting showing off a ladies silhouette perfectly yet still remaining respectable

Samantha

A photo of my grandmother. I love this era. So classy.

Zizi

Watch is part of fashion. It shows delicacy, intimacy and stylishness. I just love how it reflects us and make us look confident. My option would be the leather and funky ones

Guest Designer - Lizzie

We can't wait to see your creations. (Also make sure you come back here on 20th April for a special announcement ;0) )

Please welcome new DT member - Leanne!!!!

Introducing our new DT member Leanne:

My name is Leanne and I live on the beautiful Gold Coast in sunny Queensland (Australia). I am married to my best friend Stuart and we have been married for 14 years. We’ve been blessed with three children, Mishae 21yrs, Jacob 11yrs (who is obsessed with pulling electrical items apart!!) and Emma 9 yrs (going on 18). We all enjoy spending our spare time camping and 4 Wheel Driving or just having fun.

I have been scrapbooking now for a period of about 5 years. My styles have changed considerably over that time but generally I would say that I tend to lean more towards classical, straight lines. I love that I am recording my thoughts for my children to read and share with their families long after I have gone. I am lucky enough to have children who love to be in front of the camera so am never short of a subject to photograph.

You can view Leanne's Blog here - http://loveleanne.blogspot.com/ and will be able to see Leanne's first DT lay-out on 15th April - challenge 10......

Challenge 9.......

Hi Everyone,

Well it's a new month and time for a new challenge, so here goes:

Create a lay-out about a favourite toy or game. Wheather it be a favourite from your own childhood or your child's favourite - whatever you want.

Please upload your LO's to our gallery, leave us a link in the comments or e-mail them to Butterflycrafts1@aol.com by 29th April to be in with a chance of becoming our May guest designer and this month the winner will also receive this gorgeous kit (kit includes Magenta paper, cardstock, Magenta chipboard, heidi swapp chipboard, brads, BasicGrey alphabet, & kaiser flowers) from our April Sponsor 'Scrapbook Star' - A big thank you to our DT member Samantha for sponsoring us this month xx

Here's what our fantastic DT came up with:

Karen (Me)

Nina

Journaling: When I was around 4 or 5, I remember playing in the garden by myself.Round, cuplike leaves became little teacups and mud became a beautiful cake.No batteries required, just my imagination allowed to play.

Sue Em

Sarah

Vicki

This was a great challenge for me since I've been wanting to scrap my daughter's favourite toys for ever. "Mr.Wiggles" is my daughter's fave teddy bear. My husband bought and named him when I was pregnant. He has been on my daughter's bed since the day she was born. He protects her from thunderstorms, bad dreams and monsters. Other toys have come and gone but Mr. Wiggles is forever!

We can't wait to see your creations.
